About the author

Nita L. Streetman tripped over learning one of the methods of how to get free rent through a friend. Once learned, within 3 weeks she was getting free rent in an apartment. She kept her day job and saved every penny that she would have spent on rent. First she paid off all of her debts, then she saved up enough money for a down payment to purchase her very first home. And she did all this on a very low income!

After purchasing her home, she decided to research other methods that can be used to get free rent. What she discovered is that there are many people across America quietly doing this; people who learned about it by accident or through a friend. Through research she learned that there are basically two methods: house sitting; short term or long term (long term is much harder to find, but this book will teach you where to find these kind of placements), and 2. exchanging certain services for free rent. (This book will teach you the most popular services to exchange.) There are several variations of each. She also discovered that most of the people who benifit from this are single people, though some are full-sized families.
